What is a structure? How do you design something to accommodate human needs? How does tectonics come into play? In this project, we are required to construct an isolation structure fitted for a banal action that reflects our self-isolation experience, while considering the tectonics, ergonomics, anthropometrics as well as materiality.

REFLECTION

In this project, I was able to apply what I learnt from project 1 into my project 2, while considering multiple additional sections. This was my first time using architecture to tell a story- my self-isolation story. I utilized the chosen banal action to assist the feelings I was trying to convey. Although there are still improvements to be made, I am satisfied with what I have managed to come up with.

3. INTRAPERSONAL SKILLS

I was able to manage my time wisely in completing the project.
