ELEMENTS OF DESIGN
TASK
In this assignment, students were to produce an A5 accordion booklet. The content will consist of elaborations and explanations on the design elements observed from black and white photographs, photograph by ourselves. Other than that students were also required to produce one A3 sheet of analysis from the painting Guernica.

PROJECT 1:
PROJECT 2: RESEARCH IN ASIAN ARCHITECTURE
The project is research driven that requires student to research and discuss significant issues to generate a critical
understanding of tradition, modernity and globalisation in the Asian architectural contexts. These issues are discussed
in lectures and pre-recorded lectures to facilitate students’ group discussion in class. Students are required to present
their findings in the form of a research poster and seminar presentation.

REFLECTION
1. THINKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS
In the course of this assignment, my group and I has tweaked and changed the conceptual framework several times to have a better flow of contents and a clearer structure.
2. COMMUNICATION SKILLS
We were able to learn ways to phrase our sentences in order to have a clearer delivery during our verbal presentation. We also had to communicate and exchange ideas with our tutor, Mr.Koh for improvements.
MY REFLECTION
3. CITIZENSHIP AND GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
We were able to read a lot of articles regarding the topic discussion chosen, in order to obtain different point of views and opinions of the issue on adaptive reuse. Then, we had to filter and summarize the information into a 10 minute packed discussion.
