DESIGNER'S JOURNEY:

ELEMENTS OF DESIGN

In this assignment, students were to produce an A5 accordion booklet. The content will consist of elaborations and explanations on the design elements observed from black and white photographs, photograph by ourselves. Other than that students were also required to produce one A3 sheet of analysis from the painting Guernica.

MY REFLECTION

In this assignment, students were to document their journey in creating a self-portrait. In 3 stages, students were to analyze the formal qualities of artists artworks and extract their most evident element. Then, for the final piece, an A2 artpiece was to be produced with clear understanding and application of the design elements and principles.

DESIGNER'S PORTRAIT

PROJECT 3:

HEAD GARMENT DESIGN

For the last assignment, students were to move on from 2D exploration to 3D exploration. The task is to create a head garment that reflects the students' personality and characteristics, while also displaying mechanisms of transformation. The process of constructing the final head garment includes research sketches of the mechanisms and sketch models to try-out our options.
